MINUTES of the previous meeting were read and accepted as correct by
J. Bates and seconded by P. de Groot and carried.
BUSINESS ARRISING FROM THE MINUTES:- G. Voak looking into availability of
soil to cover centre aeria of flying field. Club not to pay membership
for work performed on behalf of Club.

BUSINESS ARRISING FROM THE CORRESPONDENCE:- NIL
FINANCIAL report was read and accepted by P.  de Groot and seconded by
J. Bates and carried.
REPORTS:-NIL
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. Motion moved by G. Adams that " J. Bates's name be replaced with
   T. Parnell for withdrawal of money from Home Building Society accounts"
   seconded by G. Andrews and carried.
2. Construction of lean to was discussed at length.
   Motion moved by G. Adams that" Shed be constructed by club members.
   The shed being the same width as existing shed and of similar construction
   (except there will be no back).
   To be constructed on west side of pit aeria from existing shed to taxi way.
   T. Bailye to measure, obtain quotes for material and make up drawings to
   submit to council. The Club to allacate sufficient funds to complete
   the project. " seconded by J. Bates
3. T. Bailye made up a drag and has cleared most of the south side of the
   flying field.
4. A Busy bee to be organised in the near future.
5. Training new modellers was discused at length.
   Motion moved by G. Adams that" Club adopts AWA training manual and that
   the club appoints a chief flying instuctor" seconded by G. Andrews
   and carried.
6. P. de Groot moved that" J. Bates be nominated as chief flying instructor"
   seconded by M. Proud
   G. Adams moved that" T. Bailye be nominated as chief flying instructor"
   seconded by R. Harding
   A vote was taken with J. Bates receiving 5 votes and T. Bailye receiving
   2 Votes.
   J. Bates was declared chief flying instructor.
7. Notice of motion was moved by J. Bates that" Ray Ciantar and Thomas
   Ciantar be accepted as members of the club."seconded by R. Harding
8. Flyers from Mandura are coming to Kalgoorlie for the October long
   week end. A BBQ and swap meeting to be organised with BBQ to be held
   at M. Proud's place on Sunday night.
